The Lehigh Valley restaurant scene is booming so much that it is difficult to keep up with the many new dining options emerging in the region. We have compiled a list of restaurants that have recently opened and are causing a sensation, as well as highly anticipated restaurants that are about to open, and we are seeing an ever-growing list.
Why you should check it out: The team that brought you tapas has been working on it for months, and the new restaurant's menu of stuffed French toast pancakes could help refresh Park Plaza on Sullivan Trail.
Why not try it: Affey's takes a new twist and adds Latin American delicacies like tacos and pastellos to the usual menu of pizza and wings. The former main room of Little Italy was taken over by other Lehigh Valley favorites like Bolognese and Pizzeria Ristorante, as well as a few others.
Nawab serves the usual Mediterranean dishes such as falafel, kabobs and hummus, but the real gem at Daddy are the Lebanese desserts prepared in the restaurants. The menu is the same as that found in any other Lebanese restaurant in Lehigh Valley or even Lebanon County. Good Taste of India also offers a lunch and dinner buffet, allowing you to sample many things in a single visit.
The food at the Tandoor Grill is equally finger-ready - delicious and available in generous portions at an affordable price. specialty made from Indian beef, and if you like it , this is a very rare Indian restaurant that has it on the menu. The specialities are very tempting, so don't miss them, but the food is not only delicious, but also very affordable.
The year 2011 has brought us the marble, and the food you want is prepared to order and the best is it is well baked.
This food joint is known for its lunch and dinner buffet with fresh, delicious starters, offered at some of the most competitive prices in town. Great food is not the only thing that makes this restaurant so special, and the Easton Wine Project, also at the Silk Factory, is on my list for my next trip home. Call Sette Luna, who specialises in bricks - they make oven pizzas and some of my favourite dishes.
At Easton Farmers' Market, stock up on locally grown grass-fed meats and visit the many fine restaurants on site. Get pulled pork, ribs and brisket, which are cut by the pound, fried cucumbers and you will find chicken biscuits in a sauce of your choice.
You can stick to the familiar flavours of authentic marinara, but to experience the real taste of India, don't forget the spicy chicken tikka masala sauce or the sweet and savoury curry sauce. To get things going, head to one of the many restaurants in Easton, such as the Indian Restaurant and Bar, and sample their typical dishes.
